Flagship symposium explores the forces shaping wealth, investing and innovation in an increasingly interconnected world

SINGAPORE, Oct. 7, 2026 /PRNewswire/ -- Citi Wealth hosted its flagship Wealth Symposium 2026, bringing together more than 500 clients for a day of discussions on the trends shaping the future of wealth and investing.

Yeo Wenxian, Head of Wealth for Asia South at Citi and CEO of Citibank Singapore, delivering the opening address at Wealth Symposium 2026.

Held at The Ritz-Carlton, Millenia Singapore, the symposium featured keynote presentations and panel discussions with speakers including Keith Glenfield, Global Head of Investments, Citi Wealth, and Sir Robert Fairbairn, Vice Chairman of BlackRock. Participants also heard perspectives from prominent investment professionals and business leaders from Amundi Investment Institute, J.P. Morgan Asset Management, Neuberger, Mastercard and AIA Singapore.

Speakers explored how artificial intelligence is transforming industries and creating new investment opportunities across the technology ecosystem, from semiconductor supply chains and data centres to emerging applications in healthcare, robotics and automation. Discussions also examined the implications of geopolitical tensions on markets, Asia's growing role in global innovation, and the importance of maintaining diversified portfolios amid an increasingly complex investment environment.

The event also reflected the symposium theme, Singapore at Heart, Global in Possibilities, underscoring Singapore's position as a leading international wealth centre and a gateway to global opportunities for investors, entrepreneurs and businesses. Beyond the discussions, exhibitions from partners including Chi Longevity showcased the breadth of Citi Wealth's client propositions.

Yeo Wenxian, Head of Wealth for Asia South at Citi and CEO of Citibank Singapore, said: "Wealth management today is about much more than investing assets. It is about navigating uncertainty, making confident decisions in a more complex world, and creating opportunities for the next generation. As our clients' needs continue to evolve, Citi remains committed to combining global insights, trusted advice and the best of technology to help them achieve their long-term ambitions. The Wealth Symposium reflects that commitment by connecting clients with the ideas, expertise and conversations shaping the future of wealth."

In addition to investment-focused discussions, the programme also featured a keynote conversation with Singapore's first Olympic gold medallist, Joseph Schooling, who shared insights from his journey from Olympic champion to entrepreneur. He spoke about resilience, reinvention and teamwork, and how these qualities continue to shape his life long after the pursuit of a gold medal.

The Wealth Symposium is part of Citi Wealth's ongoing commitment to providing clients with access to global insights, expert perspectives and investment opportunities, helping them navigate increasingly complex markets and achieve their long-term financial objectives.
