HONG KONG, Sept. 24, 2026 /PRNewswire/ -- Mech-Mind Robotics Technologies Co., Ltd. ("Mech-Mind" or the "Company", stock code: 09615.HK) announced its interim results for the six months ended June 30, 2026 (the "Reporting Period"). This is the Company's first periodic results report since its listing on the Main Board of The Stock Exchange of Hong Kong Limited on September 1, 2026. During the Reporting Period, the Company recorded revenue of RMB237.3 million, representing a year-on-year increase of 54.7%; gross profit was RMB154.2 million, up 63.6% from RMB94.3 million in the same period last year. Gross profit margin increased from 61.4% in the same period last year to 65.0%.
Despite a substantial year-on-year increase of 72.9% in R&D investment, adjusted loss for the period (non-IFRS measure) narrowed from RMB55.8 million to RMB52.5 million. The loss at the current stage is mainly attributable to the high-intensity R&D investment that the Company has proactively maintained, which is a strategic investment, and the overall scale of the loss remains controllable.
As of the end of the Reporting Period, the Company's customers included more than 100 Fortune Global 500 companies, its business covered nearly 50 countries and regions, and its repurchase rate reached 93.9% in the first half of 2026.
Order Value Up 75.3% Year-on-Year, All from a Wide Range of Real-World Scenarios and Real Deliveries
By business line, during the Reporting Period, the embodied intelligent robotic guidance business maintained steady growth, with revenue up 49.9% year-on-year to RMB216.3 million; revenue from the AI inspection and measurement business increased by 128.4% year-on-year to RMB21.1 million, and its share of total revenue rose from 6.0% in the same period last year to 8.9%. The rapid ramp-up of inspection and measurement applications shows that the Company's intelligent capabilities are extending from robotic guidance to more processes, validating the platform's multi-application expansion path.
In terms of orders, the value of new orders signed by the Company during the period reached RMB335.4 million, up 75.3% year-on-year; as of June 30, 2026, the Company's order backlog amounted to RMB176.5 million, an increase of 102.0% compared with June 30, 2025. The above results reflect the scalability and resilience of the Company's business model amid the evolving industry landscape.
Over the past year, the robotics industry has received unprecedented attention from the capital markets, with humanoid robot-related concepts attracting particularly strong interest. The essence of this round of industry trends is a leap in the intelligence of robots, rather than the victory of any particular form factor. Since its founding in 2016, the Company has remained focused on providing standardized perception, decision-making and manipulation capabilities (i.e. the "brain, eyes and hands") for intelligent robots of all form factors, serving real-world needs in manufacturing and logistics scenarios.
A Trillion-Scale Market Just Getting Started: Long-Tail Demand Constitutes the Addressable Market for the Scaling of Intelligent Robots
According to a report by the International Federation of Robotics (IFR), 542,000 new industrial robots were installed globally in 2024, with a penetration rate of less than 1%. The Company believes that the root cause lies in the difficulty traditional automation has in adapting to continuously changing on-site conditions, and that long-tail demand constitutes an underestimated addressable market. The core driver is intelligent capability rather than form factor, which does not deny the value of the humanoid form factor in fields such as scientific research and education.
As of the date of this report, Mech-Mind's products had been cumulatively deployed in more than 30,000 units (sets), compatible with more than 1,000 models of robotic arms from over 40 brands, and supported a variety of configurations including industrial arms, collaborative arms, mobile robots and dual-arm robots. The Company had cumulatively served more than 1,600 customers, including more than 100 Fortune Global 500 companies, and the Company's repurchase rate for the current period was as high as 93.9%.
Robot "Brain" Enters a Period of Strategic Breakthrough: Deployment Efficiency Significantly Improved, with Cycles Shortened from Months to Days
The Company believes that the robot "brain" is in a period of strategic breakthrough. The Company is building a "one brain, multiple forms" technology system along an "embodied-native" route, achieving generalization across form factors and tasks through a layered architecture and component composition, rather than collecting data case by case.
While the main cost of a project comes from the time invested by engineers on both the customer and supplier sides, the Company uses artificial intelligence to replace repetitive on-site work, shortening deployment cycles from months to days. The Company's gross profit margin also rose sharply from 39.1% in 2023 to 65.0% in the first half of 2026, while selling expenses as a percentage of revenue fell from 102.7% to 38.5%, with the operating leverage effect becoming clearly evident.
During the period, research and development expenses increased from RMB46.3 million in the same period last year to RMB80.1 million, up 72.9% year-on-year, and were mainly directed towards the iteration of embodied intelligence large models, world action models and the core "brain, eyes and hands" components. The Company adheres to an R&D cadence of "selling the current generation, improving the next, and researching what comes after", and maintains systematic tracking and evaluation of new technologies in the industry. During the Reporting Period, the Company's self-developed dexterous hand achieved a grasping cycle life of no less than 2 million cycles, significantly higher than the industry norm of 100,000 to 300,000 cycles.
Growth Flywheel and Closed Loop: Product Strength and Ecosystem Position Together Create the Value Hub of the Industry
The Company expects to enter the stage of delivering more than 10,000 units in a single year for the full year of 2026. The most direct test of the value of standardized products is customer repurchase. The Company's customers include more than 100 Fortune Global 500 companies; its repurchase rate reached 93.9% in the first half of 2026. After completing validation at a single workstation, customers typically replicate the same solution across more production lines and factories. All of the Company's revenue comes from real customers, real-world scenarios and real deliveries.
The Company has established a closed growth loop: standardized components lower the deployment threshold and drive scenario expansion, while the real-world operating experience accumulated by 30,000 deployed units cannot be synthesized in a laboratory and continuously feeds back into model capabilities. The Company is positioned as the standardized core intelligence layer at the hub of the industry chain, and its "brain, eyes and hands" components are compatible with more than 1,000 models from over 40 robot body brands.
Born Global: Overseas Revenue CAGR of Over 80%, with More Than 80% from Developed Markets
Mech-Mind's globalization began on the very first day of its founding. From 2023 to 2025, the Company's overseas business revenue increased from RMB58.6 million to RMB195.5 million, representing a CAGR of 82.7%. The Company's standardized products inherently possess the ability to be replicated across markets: the same set of "brain, eyes and hands" components can be reused across countries, industries and form factors, while localized delivery and services are completed by ecosystem partners.
During the Reporting Period, overseas revenue accounted for 41.9% of Mech-Mind's total revenue (same period last year: 38.5%), of which 86.5% came from markets in Europe, the United States, Japan and South Korea (same period last year: 86.4%), with the revenue structure continuing to concentrate in developed markets. The Company has subsidiaries in Munich, Tokyo, Detroit and Seoul, and its business covers nearly 50 countries and regions. In addition, the Company's physical AI solution was selected for the World Economic Forum MINDS Programme.
For robot deployment, the economic fundamentals of overseas markets are more favorable: developed markets have higher labor costs, greater difficulty in recruitment and more advanced population aging. Mech-Mind will continue to deepen its presence in overseas markets, further addressing industry challenges and bridging structural gaps. The Company intends to use approximately 29.4% of the net proceeds from the Global Offering to expand its global presence and accelerate commercialization, and will continue to invest in overseas channels, localized support and ecosystem development, making international markets an important source of growth for the Company's next stage.
Outlook: Grounded in Solid Technology and Products, Firmly Positioned in the Wave of the Intelligent Robotics Industry
Shao Tianlan, Founder, Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of Mech-Mind, said: "We will continue to uphold the principle of 'no exaggeration, no falsification', reporting our progress and challenges through solid technology and products and in plain language, and we remain unwavering in our confidence in the Company's position in this round of industry trends and its long-term prospects."
