Clients can register and open a Standard Chartered EliteFly account to be issued a Vietnam Airlines-Standard Chartered EliteFly Debit Card, which for the first time allows clients to earn Lotusmiles miles when transacting with a debit card. Clients can also receive miles for transactions including term deposit, life insurance purchase, and spending. Miles can be redeemed for tickets or other rewards from Vietnam Airlines.
Additionally, qualifying clients can be offered or upgraded to Lotusmiles Titanium membership which allows them to receive priority services for checking in, onboarding, and seating arrangements along with extra baggage allowance and award tickets for relatives.
According to Nirukt Sapru, CEO in Vietnam, ASEAN, and South Asia Cluster Markets at Standard Chartered, the bank has been in Vietnam for over 115 years and remains fully committed to the country and to its clients here.
“We have been and will continue leveraging our unrivalled knowledge of the market, combined with our excellent business capabilities and extensive international network to strongly develop our business, contributing to the country’s socioeconomic development. The partnership with the iconic national flag carrier Vietnam Airlines underscores our strong commitment to being here for good over the long run,” said Sapru.
Leveraging the partnership, Vietnam Airlines and Standard Chartered also offer clients appealing benefits and enhanced experience. Along with mile rewards and the bancasurrance and term deposit combo, clients can earn more than 360000+ Lotusmiles, which is enough to redeem for an “Around the world” ticket with Vietnam Airlines and other Skyteam member airlines.
