Da Nang streets decorated to welcome big national festival

NDO - All roads, polling stations, agencies and units throughout Da Nang city are now decorated with colourful banners and flags to welcome General Election day on May 23.


Communications work has also been strengthened in many forms such as: using mobile loudspeakers, handing out leaflets and using vivid and concise images to help people understand easily. Training activities for election day has been organised in online forms. Meanwhile districts are training for their responses to hypothetical situations of COVID-19 infection during the election.

In addition, the city is taking samples to test for SARS-CoV-2 at households across the city, in order to better serve and ensure the safety of Covid-19 epidemic prevention and control during the upcoming election of deputies to the 15th National Assembly (NA) and People's Councils at all levels for the 2021-2026 tenure in Da Nang city.

It is expected that about 80,000 people representing households, including more than 12,200 members of election teams, will be sampled until May 20.
