Four days ago he tested positive for coronavirus and was put on a life support machine on Wednesday.
But he lost his fight for life on Friday afternoon at Danang Hospital.
The cause of death has been determined as septic shock, multi-organ failure, respiratory arrest in pneumonia patients and chronic renal failure. He was undergoing dialysis periodically with conditions including hypertension, gout, and finally COVID-19.
He is the second person to die from a coronavirus related condition. Earlier on Friday a 70-year-old man suffered a heart attack during treatment for Covid-19.
