Leaders congratulate Joe Biden for winning US presidential election

In his tweet, Cuban President Miguel Diaz-Canel said he believes in the possibility of building a constructive bilateral relationship with Washington.

Iranian President Hassan Rouhani said he hopes the new administration in the US can resume the implementation of commitments with the international community. Biden previously announced that Washington will rejoin the historic nuclear deal that the P5 + 1 Group (including the UK, US, Russia, France, China and Germany) signed with Iran in 2015 if he wins the US presidential election while Tehran still adheres to this agreement.

Iraqi President Barham Saleh congratulated Joe Biden, expecting the two countries to work together to achieve common goals and consolidate peace and stability throughout the Middle East.

Palestinian President Mahmoud Abbas extended congratulation, hoping for cooperation with the new US administration.

King Jordan Abdullah II looked to cooperate with the US under Mr. Biden’s administration to promote bilateral partnerships in achieving common goals such as peace, stability and prosperity.

Leaders of African countries, including Nigeria and South Africa, congratulated Joe Biden, expecting to strengthen relations and cooperation with the US, especially in economics, diplomacy, politics and the war against terrorism.
