Coronavirus: nine new exogenous contaminations, the toll rises to 1122

The patients, all male, are Indian experts who arrived at Tan Son Nhat International Airport on October 6 on flight 6E 9471. They were sent upon arrival to a quarantine center concentrated in the province of Dong Thap (Mekong Delta).
The men are being treated at Sa Dec General Hospital in Dông Thap province. Seven cases of COVID-19 have already been reported on the same flight.
The national toll of the epidemic currently stands at 1122 infected, of which 691 have contracted SARS-CoV-2 nationally, with 551 reported since July 25 when the new outbreak began.
During the day, three patients were declared cured, bringing the number of cures to 1029. There were 35 deaths.
Of the patients still on treatment, nine tested negative once, four more twice and 13 more three times. Currently, there are no critically ill patients.
In total, 12484 people who had been in contact with cases of contamination or returned from epidemic areas were quarantined, including 147 in hospitals, 11512 in other quarantine centers and 825 at home or in establishments of accommodation.
