Cao Bang broke ground for the project of raising dairy cows and processing milk worth more than VND 2,500 billion
On October 17, the People’s Committee of Cao Bang province in coordination with TH Group held the groundbreaking of the project of high-tech dairy farming and milk processing in Hoa Thuan town, Quang Hoa district.

The project has a total investment capital of 2,544.5 billion VND, with a herd of 10,000 cows; Milk processing plant with a capacity of 49,000 tons / year.
The project has an estimated land use scale of 66.7 ha; of which 63.7 ha dairy farm, 3 ha dairy factory.
The project implementation site is in Lung Ten area, Dai Son commune and Lung Muoi zone, Hoa Thuan town, Quang Hoa district, Cao Bang province.
The project is expected to be implemented in 4 years, divided into 2 phases corresponding to 4 phases; each analysis performed in 1 year.
It is estimated that, when the project is put into operation, annually it will contribute about VND 600 billion to the province’s gross product growth (GRDP), over VND 200 billion of revenue to the budget and create jobs, improve income for about 500 direct workers and thousands of indirect workers.
This is a key economic project of the province, located in the Smart Agriculture Project of Cao Bang Province for the period 2020 – 2025, with a vision to 2030.
The project is implemented according to the process of breeding, managing the herd of cows and barns using modern terminal technology; including the world’s most advanced dairy management system Afimilk (Israel); New Zealand disease management and veterinary procedures; water and waste treatment equipment and processes from Japan, Israel and the Netherlands.

The closed breeding model focuses on applying high technology and 4.0 technology but still linking with the people in planting raw materials.
TH Group pledges to provide farmers in the province with breeds and technical guidance to develop raw materials for dairy cows (maize, grass ) with productivity and quality to meet the strict requirements of nutritional content for rationing for cows.
The implementation of this project will help Cao Bang to fundamentally change the breeding method from small and small to large commodity production according to international standards; to help transform the economic structure towards modernization; to catch up with the trend of exporting official goods, according to international commercial contracts.

At the ceremony, Mr. Phung Duc Tien – Deputy Minister of Agriculture and Rural Development affirmed that TH Group’s presence in Cao Bang proved the right direction of the locality.
The province should direct local authorities and specialized agencies to create favorable conditions for enterprises to successfully build this model; well implementing the environmental protection project; create conditions for local workers; build a specific roadmap for dairy exports.
This event is one of the practical activities to welcome the XIX Party Congress of Cao Bang province, the term 2020 – 2025, towards the XIII National Congress of the Party.
