All workers who were successful in the recruitment process are expected to begin work at either the Dinh Tram Industrial Park, Quang Chau Industrial Park, or Van Trung Industrial Park in the northern province of Bac Giang, or alternatively Que Vo Industrial Park in the northern province of Bac Ninh.
Employees will receive a total salary of VND8 million per month, in addition to fees to cover the cost of meals and accommodation. Along with this, Foxconn has revealed that employees will be covered by insurance from the start, including their month of probation.
Along with recruiting unskilled workers, Foxconn has also recruited other positions such as SQE engineers, sanitation workers, cafeteria, and management staff. In addition, Foxconn is also accepting candidates who are just graduates.
This comes after Bac Giang Provincial People's Committee granted investment certificates in mid-January to four projects with a total registered capital of US$570 million, including a Fukang Technology plant project owned by Foxconn Singapore PTE Ltd in Quang Chau Industrial Park in Bac Giang province.
The Fukang Technology Plant project aims to manufacture and process both tablets and laptops, with a capacity of approximately eight million products annually and a total investment capital of US$270 million.
